Many of the original houses still exist, scattered around the tree lined streets. Temple Terrace is proud to hold a Tree City USA designation, as well as being the only city in Florida designated as a multi modal community.
The Trek for Treasure event will take teams through the picturesque streets of Temple Terrace, perfect for a fun family outing. The city's name comes from the Temple orange which was the type of orange grown in this location until a severe freeze damaged the trees.
